The Aboutme is a further detailed description of yourself that is only visible to Corkizon Members. You can also add additional talents, work availability, media and other great sections and edit your contact information. Choose from the many widgets to customize your promotional page exactly the way you like. You can re-arrange widgets on your own profile by clicking its header and dragging it to the location you wish to place it.
The following widgets are available:
This is the main photo you wish to use for your profile. A smaller version is saved as a thumbnail and usually displayed in the top left of any of your profile sections. You can also see a copy of this photo in a larger format in the Photos section (Media->Photos).
A free-form text area to add in a Biography about yourself. To edit this field click the 'edit' button at the top right and click save when you are done. To delete the widget, click the 'x'.
A free-form text area to add in Broadcast message for the world! To edit this field click the 'edit' button at the top right and click save when you are done. To delete the widget, click the 'x'.
Displays your email address associated with your account. You can also add in screen names for Instant Messaging and other services. Lastly, you can link your account to a Twitter account to have live tweetstream right in your profile! (To access tweetstream go to Communication->Tweetstream)
To edit this field click the 'edit' button at the top right and fill in the appropriate information. Click save when you are done. WARNING: Modifying the email address associated with your account changes your login ID.
Add a little more about yourself with this widget to give your profile a personal touch. To edit this field click the 'edit' button the top right and fill in the appropriate information. Click save when you are done. To add multiple Interests, Activities or other items separate each with a comma. To delete this widget, click the 'x'.
Your geographical location. To edit this field click the 'edit' button at the top right and fill in the appropriate information. Click save when you are done. WARNING: Modifying your country changes the way your profile is categorized in the Featured Page.
This widget defines your place in Corkizon and identifies you according to a Primary Talent. In addition, your profile will be categorized in the Featured page according to the selected talent. Therefore, you can only have one Primary Talent at a time. Your status characterizes your talent as being of a certain level. For instance, you may wish to identify yourself as an amateur or professional. To add more than one talent see Secondary Talents
To edit this field click the 'edit' button at the top right. Since you can only have one talent at a time, you must delete the talent listed at the bottom of the widget before adding a new one. WARNING: Deleting and adding new will reset all your Fans, Ratings, View counts and Featured status. Click save when you are done. To delete the widget, click the 'x' (Deleting the widget still keeps your talent information saved in the Corkizon system).

This is the only static (non-editable) widget in your aboutme. It presents a number of statistics to you and other viewers. To delete this widget, click the 'x'.
To help others find you within Corkizon, we've added the ability to tag yourself with text-based descriptors. For instance, you may wish to identify your music or art as 'Contemporary' or specify the specific arts and crafts you create. With Tags, there are endless possibilities so it's really up to you!
To edit this field click the 'edit' button the top right and fill in tags you wish to add. Separate tags with commas and click save when you are done. To delete this widget, click the 'x'.
Use this widget to list other website you may have or wish to share. To edit this field click the 'edit' button the top right and add websites by clicking '+ add website'. Click save when you are done. To delete this widget, click the 'x'.
When presenting yourself as a talent creator, you often need to let talent seekers know if you are able to take on work and what type of work you are interested in taking. Click 'edit' to specify this and click 'Save' when you are done. To delete this widget, click the 'x'.
The promotional page is the focus of your public image to other Corkizon members and the general public; it is their portal into your profile. Use it to market your talents effectively. Displays one photo, such as a showcase image at the very top of your promotional page. To edit, click the 'edit' link at the top right of the widget and select an image to upload. You can also modify the title displayed at the top of the widget. Lastly, to remove the widget entirely, click the 'x' at the top right of the experience widget's window.
Similar to the promotional, serves as a secondary image for your promotional page. For instance, you may wish to highlight a particular image to viewers. To edit, click the 'edit' link at the top right of the widget and select an image to upload. You can also modify the title displayed at the top of the widget. Lastly, to remove the widget entirely, click the 'x' at the top right of the experience widget's window.
A photo gallery built right into your promotional page! You can select a folder from your media (photos) to display as a photo strip. Clicking on a photo displays a larger version below. To edit, navigate to your photos section (media->photos) where you can add images to a newly-created or existing folder. Next, go back to the photos widget and click on 'edit' at the top right of the widget. You can then select the folder you wish to display. Lastly, to remove the widget entirely, click the 'x' at the top right of the experience widget's window.
A music playlist built right into your promotional page!
Each Corkizon member can create a detailed resume automatically linked to your profile! This is a great way to professionally present yourself and your talent and skills to other members. The Resume tool is extremely versatile allowing you to add sections as you need them.
Begin by editing the title of your resume. This is the heading the viewers see at the very top. You can now add widgets to create the sections you would like to add. Remember you can re-arrange the sections as you like them by simply clicking on the header of the section you would like to move and dragging it to the location you wish to place it.

Use this section to list any work or volunteer experience you wish to include in your resume. To edit, click 'edit' and fill out the information as listed. Clicking the icon next to the start and end date fields brings up a calendar for easy entry.
To add additional items click the '+ add experience' link. To remove experience, click the '-remove experience' link. Clicking 'save changes' saves and closes the edit box. Lastly, to remove the widget entirely, click the 'x' at the top right of the experience widget's window.

This area is the focal point of the Corkizon idea connect people using talent. The Featured page is the main hub where users can search for individuals using robust filtering tools.
To filter the results show, use the main drop down list and tabs above the displayed users grid.
Talent - Each user selects a main talent by which he or she wishes to be identified.
Talent Categories - Within each main talent, each user can select a category.
Talent Role - Each user selects a role that further identifies his or her talent.
Level - The level of experience a user has with a specified talent
User Activity - Featured users are those selected for display by the Corkizon team. Most viewed sorts the users by number of views of their promotional page. Top Rated sorts the users by their ratings. Popular sorts the users by the number of Fans they have.
Time Range - Selects the appropriate time range for the other filtering criteria. If 'All' is selected, the time range uses the date that users joined Corkizon.
